Beloit College men’s basketball 2024-2025 season tips off today vs Millikin University at the Flood Arena (Sports Center) in Beloit, WI at 2 PM CST.
When the Bucs take the floor, head coach Josh Hinz returns a team with leadership, experience, defense and youth to learn from a 2023-24 team that made its first trip to the Midwest Conference Tournament since the 2000-01 season, finishing 9-7 in the MWC and 16-10 overall.
Beloit College men’s basketball are expected to finish 3rd in the Midwest Conference (MWC) behind Illinois College and Grinnell College according to the 2024-2025 MWC Preseason Poll with returning leading scorer Azeez Ganiyu set to have a big season.
In the 2023-2024 season, the Buccaneers averaged 72.7 PPG, (44% FG, 33% 3FG, 66% FT), 41.3 RPG, 13.5 APG, 7.4 SPG, and 2.4 BPG.
Defense is the Bucs identity, last season, Beloit College held opponents to 69 PPG, 40% FG, and 32% 3FG shooting.
The Bucs out rebounded their opponents 41-32 RPG, passed better averaging 13 to their opponents 11 assists per game, also forcing 12 turnovers per game.
