I’ve waited to share my thoughts on the Charlie Kirk assassination out of respect for the Kirk family, but we deserve to know what happened that day. Charlie Kirk was assassinated in broad daylight while debating college students at UVU in Orem, Utah. From what I understand, Orem is a small town where everyone knows each other. Sound familiar? It resembles another small town in Massachusetts.
There are many unanswered questions in the Charlie Kirk case, and various conspiracy theories have emerged. Was Tyler Robinson solely responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk? I don’t have the answers, but I do find several aspects of the case to be odd.
TMZ Releases Footage Of Charile Kirk Shooter

On September 11th, TMZ released video footage of a man wearing blue jeans and a black shirt limping past a doorbell camera. The homeowner with the security camera is Erwin Steele, who owns multiple properties on West Street in Orem. The university where Charlie Kirk was speaking is essentially located behind West Street. This means the shooter walked across several properties owned by Steele to reach the campus. However, the Steeles aren’t the only family with property on West Street.
Another family that owns property on that street is the Lyman family, which is connected to Utah State Representative Phil Lyman. He was parked at a relative’s house across the street from where the shooter was captured on doorbell camera footage.
Erwin Steele works for Caldera Engineering, which manufactures valves for the military. This situation raises questions about the influence of these two powerful families in a small town. I’m not saying they are involved in any wrongdoing, but if an independent journalist is covering the case regularly, you would think they would want to cooperate. From what I understand, that cooperation is not happening.
Locals Have Different Take On Charile Kirk Shooter
I reached out to a couple of locals to get their perspective on Tyler Robinson and the case in general. The first person I spoke with mentioned knowing the individuals who had the doorbell camera footage, which shows Tyler Robinson walking by while wearing a maroon shirt and khaki shorts. The footage also includes a second instance where a person resembling Tyler is seen limping in blue jeans and a black shirt.
When I asked if he thought the person in khaki shorts and the maroon shirt was the same individual as the one in blue jeans and the black shirt, he said many conspiracy theories are circulating outside the neighborhood, but within the community, there’s no real reason to believe things are as claimed. He also pointed out the lack of security on the roof of UVU that day, suggesting that there should have been more. I agree with this. However, TPUSA has stated that it’s the university’s responsibility to provide campus security, which is likely to change in the future.
This person also mentioned that while many appreciate Charlie Kirk, not everyone is an avid follower, but the tragedy has hit the community hard. He indicated that the events of September 10th are not talked about much within the community.
The second person I spoke with does not believe that the individual in khaki shorts is the same as the one wearing blue jeans and a black shirt who was limping.
Is the Small Town In Utah Like the Small Town In Massachusetts?
Is Orem, Utah, like Canton, Massachusetts? A place where everyone stays for a lifetime, and where some powerful individuals—whether police officers or politicians—protect each other when something tragic occurs in the community, no matter the cost? This might seem far-fetched, but one thing is clear: the Charlie Kirk case will become a significant story in the Country.
