Expansion, more sponsors and partnering with CBS Sports Network…The BIG3 is now just flexing.
They brought their unique entertainment and 3-on-3 basketball combination to the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City on Sunday.
The BIG3 had visited Oklahoma before in 2017, but it was the Bok Center in Tulsa that time during their inaugural season.
It was not confirmed that they would visit Oklahoma City until the middle of May, so at this point you have to assume that demand is very high and lots of cities want the BIG3, but the problem is that only eighteen will get them.
Nice problem to have!

Sunday’s first matchup featured two teams desperate to remain in playoff contention, Aliens versus Ghost Ballers.
Tempers were flaring into the second half as Ghost Ballers’ Captain Mike Bibby and Co-Captain Ricky Davis each received technical fouls.
The Aliens squad dug in and maintained their early game lead with several buckets from inside and out of the paint, in route to a 51 – 35 win.
Brandon Rush sent Ricky Davis to the floor with a nasty crossover and pulled up for a game-winning three, in what’s certain to be one the highlights of BIG3 season 3.
The streaking Enemies looked to maintain their winning ways against the always dangerous Trilogy on Sunday afternoon.
They got off to a quick start, behind easy buckets from Craig Smith and Perry Jones, but at the end struggled to match the defensive intensity of Trilogy and lost 50 – 38.
David Hawkins and Trilogy earn hard-nosed win over Enemies.
The Killer 3’s looked to return back to winning this week, while the always gritty Ball Hogs vied for their first win of the year.
Big man Eddy Curry dominated the Ball Hogs defense, netting 10 points and helping the Killer 3’s secure a 27-21 halftime lead and they never look back.
The Killer 3’s continue to embody their coach Charles Oakley’s energy and beat the Ball Hogs Killer 3’s 50 – 35.
