Friends, guess what?! If you are looking for a delicious, completely gluten-free place to get baked goods and amazing ice cream flavors, you’re in luck! Look no further than Lolleys Ice Cream in downtown Monument, Colorado.

Located on 2nd street in historic downtown Monument, is a cute, quaint, little ice cream shop. It is the kind of shop you would miss if you didn’t know it was there. The cute, green, farmhouse-style storefront opened in 2021 and has been a local favorite ever since. The front yard hosts food trucks throughout the summer and fall. While in the backyard, you can find picnic tables, giant yard games, cornhole, and lots of space to hang out in the warmer months!

Now let’s talk goodies! This is the second time I have been here, and it is always a good time. They are 100% gluten-free, and celiac-safe. I took two family members who do not have any dietary restrictions, and both were VERY impressed.

This visit cost me $21.60 for 3 large, 12-ounce ice creams, with toppings, 1 chocolate bundt cake, and 1 caramel apple cider bundt cake, both individual serving sizes.  Worth every penny, if you’re gluten-free you know how hard it is to find good desserts, and how pricey they can be, but Lolleys nails it every time!

The ice cream was creamy and silky smooth. They had so many flavors to choose from, including seasonal flavors that rotate often. Cinnamon bun, strawberry cheesecake, and sweet cream espresso were the taste test subjects this time. We topped all three with gluten-free graham cracker crumbs, and EVERY SINGLE ONE was 5/5!

Both of the bundt cakes were perfectly moist, fluffy, and tasty, cold or warm. Which, if you happen to be gluten-free you know it is super hard to find, especially at our altitude. I have also previously tried their chocolate chip cookie and it beats most regular cookies! I also give all of the baked goods a 5/5.

To bring it all together Lolleys Ice Cream is always a fantastic experience both inside and out. I have never had anything there that wasn’t worth coming back for again and again. It’s a lovely place for those both gluten-free and not. lolleys is a total 5/5 if you ask me!

Until next time friends!
