It’s obvious people in New England pay closer attention to the Patriots than people around the country. But it seems the coverage around the Country gets outraged when you bring up Bill Belichick’s job status. Why can’t we? Do they not realize his team is a Trainwreck? He’s under .500 since Brady left. He sabotaged Mac Jones and the offense. The analysis seems to give him a pass maybe because they have a relationship with him. Or don’t want to hurt the brand.
The Patriots are the worst team in the AFC and one of the worst teams in the league. They are looking at maybe one or two more wins if that. There is no easier win with this team it’s the other teams looking at the Patriots saying the Patriots are an easy win. That’s what the Saints, Commanders, Raiders, etc. said. But yet Belichick still gets praise from ESPN hosts and other national analysis.
Bill Belichick Lost The Locker-room
Bill Belichick has completely lost the locker room. J.C. Jackson and Jack Jones were benched Sunday because they were late for curfew at the team hotel on Saturday night. If you’re a good team it gets brushed under the rug. But when you’re the worst team in the AFC it’s a hot topic.
Why is J.C. Jackson and Jack Jones on the Patriots? Well, the answer is pretty simple. Jackson is getting paid by the Chargers and is free to Belichick. Jack Jones is on a rookie deal and is cheap to Belichick. Belichick hates high-end talent that will make them bigger than him. Brady was like that towards the end and Belichick hated that. But nationally people are appalled when the media in Boston brings up his job status. When asked the other day if he was told by ownership, he was coaching for his job this weekend his reply was
As the Patriots head to Germany to take on the Colts I think they are going to get mauled. There is no way the Patriots win this game Sunday morning. Belichick has lost total control of the room and hates offense. They will head into the bye week with a 2-8 record. Here is what Mac Jones said today about being 2-7.
I don’t think Kraft will fire or part ways with Belichick during the season. If anything, he will part ways after the season. You’ll still get the national people who don’t cover the team closely not understand the hate on Belichick. But I’m sure if Belichick was bad at coaching their team, they would say the same thing.
