The Philadelphia Eagles 2023-24 NFL schedule is not as easy as analysts preached their last season schedule was. this is a game full of professional athletes with more than big contcats on the line. A lot of these players still play the game to win no matter what their team’s record is. The Eagles, fresh off a Super Bowl appearance and a 14-3 record, will face some stiff competition this season.
The Philadelphia Eagles will face 9 teams who made the playoffs last year and they still have to contend with the likes of their own division where no team had a losing record. There’s a rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as a big game against the Buffalo Bills and the rest of the AFC East. Their work is cut out for them this year.
New England Patriots (9/10-Away)
Despite having Bill Belichek on the sidelines, these are not the Dynasty Patriots. The Philadelphia Eagles, in their opening game, should have no problem with the Pats as they open against the AFC East. With issues at QB and the Eagles possessing arguably the best front in the NFL, expect Mac Jones to be under pressure all game. Eagles win.
Minnesota Vikings (9/14-Home)
These two have sort of a small rivalry going in. Too bad the Eagles have gotten the best of the Vikings lately. In yet, another early season matchup, Justin Jefferson will be looking to seek revenge for last season’s defeat. Can Darius Slay lock down JJ again? The Eagles take this one.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9/25-Away)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in transition. Tom Brady is gone and the team will look to Baker Mayfield as the stand-in. The Eagles’ front should have a field day with the up-and-down Mayfield under center. And the defense of the Bucs will have trouble stopping the Eagles’ offense. Eagles win.
Washington Commanders (10/1-Home)
The first divisional game for the Birds and they will face an Eric Bieniemy offense without Patrick Mahomes. Rivalry games could swing either way but this is one the Philadelphia Eagles will look to make a statement early in the NFC East. Eagles win.
Los Angeles Rams (10/8-Away)
The Rams are another team searching for an identity. With the Eagles’ defense expected to be in full bloom by this game, this does not bode well for a Rams squad not certain of their identity. Eagles with a blowout win.
New York Jets (10/15-Away)
This could be a marquee game here. Last season, the Eagles got the best of Aaron Rodgers last season, but this Jets team is different. With Rodgers at the helm, this could be a close game. Defense will be key but the Eagles have the veteran presence to pull this out.
Miami Dolphins (10/22-Home)
The two former Alabama Crimson Tide teammates will take the field as opponents. Can Tua and the Dolphins’ offense take advantage of the Eagles secondary? This should be a high-scoring game but the Eagles’ offense is just too powerful for the Dolphins defenses. Eagles win
What Will The Philadelphia Eagles Record Be For 2023
Washington Commanders ( 10/29-Home)
Round 2. This is normally the game where the Commanders catch the Eagles slipping and split the season series. It’s a possibility as it’s been in the past but not this time. Nick Sirianni has to be aware of the surprises that come with this conference and he will find a way to adjust and take the head-to-head matchup. Eagles win
Dallas Cowboys (11/5-Home)
The game both teams have circled no matter what they say. Although it’s Round One, the Eagles will come into this game possibly undefeated and looking to make a statement with an early win between the two. This is a toss-up as I expect the teams to split their meetings. Eagles win.
Bye Week
Kansas City Chiefs (11/25-Away)
The media can say whatever they want. While it’s a Super Bowl rematch, this is not a real rematch. No Lombardi is on the line. This is by far the game of the week here. The Kansas City Chiefs squeaked out a victory in Bowl 57 but not will be as lucky this time around. Eagles get their revenge.
Buffalo Bills (11/26-Home)
If you want to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, you better be one of the best teams at rushing the ball. This is an Achilles Heel for the Bills. While this game has all the making of a Super Bowl matchup, the Bills just don’t have the firepower to keep up with the Eagles.
San Francisco 49ers (12/3-Home)
Is this the new rivalry in the NFC? What happened last season still does not sit well with members of the 49ers and they want to face the Eagles at full strength to prove their win in the NFC Championship Game was luck. The issue is, that the game is being held at Lincoln Financial Field yet again. Not a good sign for the 49ers. Eagles win.
Dallas Cowboys (12/10-Away)
This is the game where the Cowboys will catch the Eagles. Despite the teams being evenly matched, the Eagles will be coming off 4 straight emotional games and the Boys will catch them at the right time. Cowboys win.
Seattle Seahawks (12/17-12/17-Away)
This is sure to be a battle of two playoff teams. The Eagles will travel to Seattle and deal with that hostile crowd. Let’s call this the Rashaad Penny revenge game. The Eagles walk away victorious.
New York Giants (12/25-Home)
The NFC East will not be a cakewalk again this season. The Eagles and Giants are always a good match. Even with Saquan Barkley back and Daniel Jones and his new contract leading the way, they still don’t have enough to beat the Eagles this week.
Arizona Cardinals (12/31-Away)
No one wants this win more than the two head coaches for both teams. One wants to prove he made the right decision by stepping away and the other wants to show that he’s still the big man on the totem pole. Eagles with an easy victory.
New York Giants (1/7-Away)
By this week, the Philadelphia Eagles should be resting their starters as they get ready for the playoffs. The Giants might be doing the same. This could have the makings g of a preseason game for both teams. The Giants will get this win to close out the regular season.
