Do we believe the Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good relationship? Earlier this year, Majors was in a situation where the cops were called regarding an alleged altercation between himself and his girlfriend at the time, Grace Jabbari.
This new romance comes just over a month after Majors’ public split with his ex Jabari which led to his arrest. The actor was accused of strangulation, assault, and aggravated harassment against Jabari, leading to the Manhattan District Attorney granting the woman a full temporary restraining order.
According to reports, Majors and Good have been supposedly dating since early May. What makes this timing weird is that Majors was involved with Jabarri when the alleged assault happened in March. Since then, Jabbari has recanted her story but the damage has already been done to Majors in the public and professional eye. In a short time, he has moved which has many wondering if this is real.
The reason this comes into question is that the rumors have indicated that Majors may prefer to date women of non-color. He has the right to choose. But him and Good, is this some PR magic? The reason is that Majors’ brand has taken a major hit since the alleged incident. As with anything involving a black man and a white woman, the issue of race came into play. Many questioned Majors for his choice of partners but it appears he has since changed his tune.

By dating or being seen with Meagan Good, Jonathan Majors may be trying to appease his black audience. You get arrested for hitting a white woman then a month later you’re seen with a black actress. Can you trust anything in Hollyweird anymore? Everything tied to that business seems to be about business. Is Jonathan Majors trying to repair his image with Good or is this relationship the real deal?
As with any type of star in the spotlight, it’s all about optics. Majors and Good can’t go anywhere without paparazzi seeing them and snapping photos. Prior to his arrest, he was almost never seen out with Jabarri. But now he’s seen everywhere with Good. Hell, he just had dinner with her family at a Red Lobster. If you were in a relationship with Jabbari and hid that from the world, why is this so-called relationship with Good so public in such a short time?
He has lost major endorsement deals and a few of his movies have been shelved. But the main issue surrounding his career is with Disney/Marvel. He was set to become the next big thing for the franchise but his image has taken a huge hit and his career is hanging in the balance.
I’m not against a person cleaning up an image but what I am against is someone using another person to do so. If Majors prefer white women, then go date Kate Hudson or somebody, don’t try to crawl back to the black community by dating someone we cherish.
At this point, we have to guess that Megan is good with this arrangement. She may have her reasons. It could be real for both of them or once again, this is a business decision for either or both.
