The Patriots begin OTA’s this week and with a real offensive coordinator in Bill O’Brien Mac Jones is ready to silence the noise. He said so with his comments this weekend about going to see Taylor Swift twice this weekend with his girlfriend. He said on Patriots social media his favorite Swift Album is Reputation because of what it stands for. What does the album stand for?
Mac Jones Has Heard Everything Being Said About Him
What I get from that is Mac hears everything that is being said and written about him being not good, start the backup, sign Lamar Jackson, etc. He went silent on social media and has said zero. All he’s done is work and get ready for the season. It helps a lot the Bill O’Brien is here because there is better direction. There was zero direction on offense last year and that falls on Belichick.
Will The Offensive Line Be Able To Protect Mac Jones?
Bill Belichick’s new offensive lineman spoke Riley Reiff and Calvin Anderson last week. Reiff gave an interesting answer When asked by a reporter why he chose New England his answer was “A ring. ” He then was asked what makes New England ready to win a ring he stuttered and answered
He’s making 4.5 million guaranteed I’m sure that was the real reason. Was he the best OT out there? He’s been on the Lions Bengals and Bears.
The second offensive lineman Bill singed was Calvin Anderson from Denver. Here’s what he had to say last week to reporters.
Mac Jones Will Shut People Up in 2023 and You’ll See Results
So does Mac believe in his offensive line? We’ll find out soon but he’s out to prove a point. That he’s much better than what he was handed last year. We saw that his rookie year. The offense now consists of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kendrick Bourne, Tyquan Thornton, Hunter Henry and Mike Gesicki. With a better leader running the offense Mac and the rest of the offense is more motivated than last season.
From the beginning of OTA’s last season they were a mess on offense with Patricia and Judge. What did the fans and media do? Dump on the quarterback and chant for the backup. Mac didn’t have to say he’s out to prove a point this year he said it this past weekend in regards to his answers about Taylor Swift. He’s sick of what people said about him last year and is going to shut them up on the field in 2023.
