I’ve been watching Tom Brady since I was nine years old. There are no words to describe how much Brady has meant to me growing up watching him play. He really inspired me to write about the Patriots and talk about them. Not sure where I’d be if I didn’t see Brady take the Patriots to the playoffs consistently year after year and win six Super Bowls. It was way more fun and entertaining that Brady was in the game period. He brought so much joy to every game he played. Whether it was the Divisional Snow Game in 2001, Super Bowl XXXVI. 28-3 comeback against the Falcons in Super Bowl LI, or even the one he won last year with the Buccaneers every one of his 7 rings was special.
A lot has happened in the 22 years since he’s been in the league but one thing that hasn’t changed is Brady’s consistent winning. Even in his final year he still played at a high-level MVP season for the GOAT. He will now come home and retire a New England Patriot where he belongs and have a future home at the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. No doubt he is the winningest athlete in professional sports. Seven-time Super Bowl Champion and three-time NFL MVP. Brady’s leadership made teammates on both sides of the ball better players. He lifted guys up when they were down to get the most out of them. He went from the Patriots of 20 years to the Buccaneers and won a Super Bowl in his first season. He is the Michael Jordan of the NFL it’s not even close.
Tom Brady Retires He Will Forever Be A Patriot
My favorite memory is Super Bowl XXXVI because it was the first championship for the Patriots. The way he went down the field with time winding down to get Adam Vinatieri to kick the game-winning field goal was special. The other two after that were great too against the Panthers and Eagles. The Seattle Super Bowl where he passed for 328 yards and four touchdowns. 28-3 comeback win for the Atlanta Falcons and the Julian Edelman catch. The countless clutch playoff performances in AFC Championships especially the one in 2019 against the Chiefs.
Brady is an inspiration to me and a lot of people to keep going. Never give up and always strive to be better. Brady was all those things being the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. Thank you Tom Brady for everything you are and forever will be a New England Patriot.
