Happy Thanksgiving.

The NFL is featuring 3 games today.

I am 98-42 picking NFL Games on The Full Monte Sports Show.

3-7 Chicago Bears at the 0-9-1 Detroit Lions

12:30 PM on Fox TV.

Chicago has won 6 out of 7 against Detroit but both teams are a dysfunctional mess. This week at a Chicago Bulls game the fans started chanting “Fire Nagy!” Neither of these teams has an identity or has a good offense. The Bears are ranked 31st in total yards per game and ranked 21st on defensive, giving up 24 points per contest. The Lions traded Mathew Stafford for Jared Goff and he has been a disaster. They are 30th in passing yards and 30th in scoring.

Prediction:

These are two of the worst teams in the NFL, the difference is the Bears have quit on their coach, the Lions haven’t.

Detroit wins their first game of the season on Thanksgiving.

Lions 27 Bears 20

5-5 Las Vegas Raiders at the 7-3 Dallas Cowboys:

4:30 PM on CBS TV.

The Raiders ship is sinking. Jon Gruden has been fired and their star WR, Henry Ruggs has been arrested and charged with DUI resulting in deaths. Quarterback Derek Carr went from averaging over 300 yards per game to 261 and 215 passing yards over the past two games. Las Vegas has struggled defensively at times as well.  They are giving up 26.2 points per game, which is ranked 26th in the NFL.

The Cowboys are coming off a 19-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Dallas is 4-1 at home and should put up a ton of points in this game. Dak Prescott has helped this team accumulate 429 yards per game, which is ranked first in the NFL. Their defense is fast, athletic, and physical and should cause Carr to turn the ball over

Dallas wins 37-24

6-4 Buffalo Bills at the 5-5 New Orleans Saints

8:20 PM on NBC TV.

These have to be the two weirdest teams in the NFL. To paraphrase  Forrest Gump, The Saints and Bills are like a box of chocolates… you never know what you are going to get. New Orleans defeated Green Bay and Tampa Bay but lost to the Falcons and Giants. The Bills lost the Jaguars 9-6 and were blowing out the Colts at home last weekend, 41-15.

Taysom Hill signed a 4 year, $40,000,000 contract with the New Orleans Saints, including $21,500,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $10,000,000. He has been relegated to a gimmick quarterback. He should be starting. Alvin Kamara will miss his 3rd straight game due to injury.  The only way for New Orleans to keep this game close is to have another solid performance by their defense. They are only giving up 21 points per game.

The Bills rely heavily on their quarterback, Josh Allen. He has 21 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and is completing 65% of his passes. Buffalo is averaging 4.7 yards per rush but their leading running back only has 83 rushing attempts.

Without Kamara, the Bills should win this game.

Take Buffalo 31-23
