This fight has going the distance written all over it. Both these fighters are very similar when it comes to the tail of the tape. Both are the same height also have the same reach and almost the same number of wins in their careers. This fight is almost a coin flip when it comes to the betting odds in Vegas. So looking through the props to find some decent value on the fight has been a challenge. So I am going to the opposite of what my gut is telling me and I’m going take Calderwood wins via KO, TKO, or DQ because of the better talent that Calderwood has faced in the past.

Dan Hooker (-130) vs. Michael Chandler (EVEN) | Lightweight
Michael Chandler has not fought in a UFC match in over a year. He goes up against Dan Hooker who just came off a hard-fought 5 round (Decision) loss over the summer against Dustin Poirier. Hooker is averaging almost 3 rounds per fight in his last 6 fights while Chandler hasn’t been in the 2nd round of a fight since 2018 in Bellator. I do think maybe some ring rust from Chandler could play a part in this fight and Hooker has been taking many of his last few fights to the later rounds.

Dustin Poirier (+245) vs. Conor McGregor (-315) | Lightweight
Poirier and McGregor meet again in a rematch from UFC 178 in 2014 in which McGregor won in a TKO in the 1st round. This fight will be a lot different this time. Poirier since that McGregor fight is 10-2-1 with 4 of those coming to a decision and averaging almost 4 rounds per fight in last 6 fights. McGregor as well is averaging about 2.5 rounds per fight in his last 6 fights the highest of his career. Also, this doesn’t feel like the old McGregor fights with tons of smack talk and prefight antics. McGregor has been calm leading up to this fight. Give me the over in this one.
