UFC provides a one million dollar contribution to Cleveland Clinic for research and it will continue to do so for the next five years.

The study examines the effect of head impacts on long-term brain health.

This multi-year commitment, which is supported by a one million dollar contribution to the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada, ensures that research will continue to help determine the long-term effects of repetitive head trauma.

Since joining the landmark study in 2011, UFC has committed more than two million dollars.

Information from this project will help guide new policies and practices.

The support provided by UFC has been fundamental to the success of the study.

The organization produces more than 40 live events annually in some of the most prestigious arenas around the world while broadcasting to nearly one billion TV households across more than 171 countries.

UFC’s athlete roster features the world’s best MMA athletes representing more than 72 countries.

Cleveland Clinic has pioneered many medical breakthroughs, including coronary artery bypass surgery and the first face transplant in the United States.

U.S. News & World Report consistently names Cleveland Clinic as one of the nation’s best hospitals.

Cleveland Clinic is a 6,026-bed health system that includes a 165-acre main campus near downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

Also, there are other locations in Southeast Florida, in Toronto, Canada, Abu Dhabi – the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East, and London, England.
