UFC Vegas 16 Preview:
The “Italian Dream” Marvin Vettori has stepped in to face Jack Hermansson at the main event of UFC Fight Night on December 5th.
This should be an intriguing bout between two ranked middleweights.
Vettori (15-4-1) has won his last three fights in a row, while Hermansson (21-5) is coming off a win over Kelvin Gastelum in July. Holland was attempting to go 5-0 in 2020.
Darren Til had originally been scheduled to fight Hermansson but dropped out due to an undisclosed injury at the beginning of October.
A day after a positive COVID-19 test canceled November 28th’s UFC main event, another occurence has forced a change in December 5th’s UFC main event.
In addition to the headline event, a light heavyweight battle between Ovince Saint Preux and Jamahal Hill will take place as the co-main event.
The event will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
