Teams that start the season 3-0, have a 69% chance of making the post-season. Teams that start the season 0-3, have a 12% chance of making the playoffs.

5) The New York Jets and Giants will not win 10 games combined:

The Jets and Giants are 0-6 combined. The Jets lost, 36-7 on Sunday to the Indianapolis Colts. The Giants were embarrassed by a depleted San Francisco 49ers team, 36-9. Which team will bail out their young quarterbacks first?  Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones are fighting for their careers. If both teams have the chance to take Trevor Lawrence out of Clemson or Justin Fields out of Ohio State, they should do it.

4) Josh Allen and Buffalo Bills are rolling:

The Bills defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 35-32 on Sunday. Josh Allen had 4 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing touchdown and 1 interception. The Bills are 3-0 and Allen has been amazing.  He has 10 passing touchdowns and only 1 interception and has 300 plus passing yards in 3 straight games.

3) The NFC Least:

In one of the ugliest games played this season, the Philadelphia Eagles tied the Cincinnati Bengals, 23-23. The Eagles are 0-2-1. The Giants are 0-3 and the Washington Football Team are 1-2. The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Seattle Seahawks, 38-31. The Winner of this division will only have to win 8 games.

2) The Green Bay Packers are 3-0:

Matt LaFluer has coached 19 regular season games with the Green Bay Packers. The team is now 16-3 under his brief tenor. The Packers have scored 43,42 and 37 points on Sunday night in their victory of the Saints. They put up 37 points against New Orleans without their star wide receiver Devante Adams. Aaron Jones and Aaron Rodgers are playing at an extremely high level and LaFluer could win coach of the year this season.

1) Nick Foles plays for the Chicago Bears… and it is about time:

Nick Foles came off the bench and helped the Bears score 20 points in the 4th quarter.  Chicago was trailing the Atlanta Falcons 26-7 before winning, 30-26. Foles was 16-29 for 188 touchdowns with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. The former Eagles quarterback came off the bench and brought life into a stagnant, boring offense. Foles will be named the starter and it appears that the Mitchell Trubinsky experiment is over for the Bears.

Bonus Coverage:

The Kansas City Chiefs put on a coaching clinic Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Patrick Mahomes threw for 4 touchdown passes. The Chiefs had 8 players with at least one reception.

The Titans are 3-0 after their 31-30 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are 0-3.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-1 and their defense could be the best in the NFL.

Russell Wilson has 14 touchdowns in the first 3 weeks of the season. That is an NFL record.

The Carolina Panthers won their first game on Sunday since week 9 of the 2019 NFL season. They did this without their star running back, Christian McCaffrey.

The Pittsburg Steelers are 3-0 for the first time since 2010.

The Detroit Lions upset the Arizona Cardinals, 26-23. Matt Patricia gets to keep his head coaching job for at least one more week.

The Patriots are 2-1, so much for them tanking this season.

The Cleveland Browns face off against the Dallas Cowboys this week. Both teams will be tested on defense.
