With the 3rd season of the NBA 2K League about to start the hometown team Wizards DG has the #1 pick this in this year’s draft. After being dealt with a bad hand losing their top scorer after Season 1 and the tough schedule they had in season 2. They have a chance to build a great team and make a run this year.
With the team retaining Dayfri and Reese this offseason they will look to build around them. Dayfri can play the PF/C and Reese can also play SG/SF not sure what position each of them will be playing for sure yet but it can also vary throughout the season. The main positions they will be looking for in the draft are a PG, lockdown defender (SG), another big man (PF or C) and a 6th man. Players from the previous season that were on the team may also be drafted again and brought back for Season 3. Would love to see players brought back to the team for the upcoming season 
This year’s draft pool is very deep and with only 68 spots you gotta separate yourself from the rest and show teams that they should want you. With that being said draft day is Saturday, February 22nd in my next article I will be talking about the players the team took in the draft and more.
