Opening night in Detroit for the BIG3 now on its third season was impressive,
A live on court marriage proposal, which it’s going to make one Hell of photo album family keep sake
The names Cuttino Mobley and Reggie Evans were trending on Twitter all evening
Players altercations, which displays their fierce competitiveness
Ice Cube performing live one of the greatest songs ever written at halftime to over fourteen thousand in attendance
Detroit, I gotta say…Saturday was good day!
The BIG3 is just a well oil entertainment family-friendly basketball machine currently and Ice Cube legendary tenaciousness, along with his creativeness, is no longer limited to the West Coast.
Frankly, Ice’s resolve has never ever been questioned, but with expansion, partnering with the CBS Corporation, more sponsors and the BIG3’s floating open invitation to a former United States President to their August 3rd Chicago visit…There is no ceiling to their reach!

Trilogy’s James White and Patrick O’Bryant helped keep the contest close, contributing 17 points and seven rebounds, and 10 points, three rebounds and two blocks, respectively, for their team.
But 3 Headed Monster went home with the victory led by Larry Sanders first BIG3 appearance, who also received an enthusiastic Yes!, to his marriage proposal.
Power co-captain Cuttino Mobley was a force Saturday night with 28 points, six rebounds, four assists and five treys.
Even a great performance by 3’s Company’s captain DerMarr Johnson was not enough as Power defeated 3’s Company 50 – 38.
Mobley and company just made big shot after big shot.
The two expansion squads, Bivouac and Enemies closed out the night.
Tensions flared early as Enemies’ Royce White and Bivouac’s Josh Smith exchanged words following a foul call.
The back-and-forth escalated into pushing and shoving, so eventually the referees ejected both first-year players for the night.
Bivouac defeated Enemies 50 – 43.
