The 2023 NFL Draft got a bit more clarity after this week’s Shrine and Senior Bowl games. Up next will be the NFL Combine starting on February 28th through March 6th. Some players definitely helped their draft stock at both games and during the drills leading up to the games themselves. Coaches and scouts got to see these prospects and if they were able to pick up new roles, adapt to new playbooks very quickly and other valuable insights like their actual measurables are now known. For this mock draft I will not be doing any trades, they don’t really make sense to use until the free agency period has started. Remember free agency is for “needs” while the draft is where you find value. As always I will try to be as much of the best player available over a “traits” come first mock drafter. What the heck let’s give y’all a full seven-round mock draft for each team. The only thing we don’t have finalized are the 30th and 31st picks in the first round. For this, I will say the Eagles win the Super Bowl. This won’t be a what I would do draft.

Quite a different draft without any trades taking place. For starters, I can tell you the Dallas Cowboys would trade down if the board fell this way. That’s why with the expected Colts and Bears trade for the 1st overall pick everything changes. I fully expect around six deals affecting the first round come April in Kansas City. There are enough teams in quarterback-needy territory that this draft order will change by the time the real draft comes. The draft combine can also affect what will happen along with pro days.
