Roger Goodell announced yesterday that the NFL draft will go on as scheduled this April 23-25. With the growing fears of the CoronaVirus, the draft will be moved from Las Vegas, NV to a teleconference draft. With so many sports canceling events this is a breath of fresh air to get some sort of sports back in our lives. With that being said let me jump into my favorite 2020 NFL Draft prop bets…..
Justin Herbert draft position under 5½ (+200) – This has some of the best value on the betting board. I do not see Herbert going past pick 5. With Tua Tagovailoa showing he is ahead of schedule in returning from injury, I can see a team like the Chargers moving up the draft to nab their target and Herbert falling right into the laps of the Dolphins. At +200 ill take a stab on that happening early in the 1st round of the draft.
Tua Tagovailoa draft position under 3½ (+105) – As stated above a team is going to move up and grab the Alabama QB.
C.J.Henderson draft position Over 16½ (+110) – Henderson is top a talent and #2 Cornerback on the board. The CB talent in the draft is thin this year and but I could see teams passing on him. The 6’1 Florida Gator showed a lot promise in the combine but any team could trade back and nab this CB toward the back of the first round.
Henry Ruggs III draft position under 14½ (+100) – At plus money, I could see Ruggs going to Broncos, Jets or Raiders. All these teams are In desperate need of Wide Receiver help. Ruggs is a Tyrek Hill-type receiver and I think those teams jump on him early.
Jedrick Wills draft position under 10½ (-170) – With this play, I am going to lay the juice. No way do I see Wills dropping anywhere out of the top 10. The Cardinals (#8 pick) and Browns (#10) desperately need offensive line help badly and he will fill one of those voids.
